Who is Omar Dhiab?
Chef-owner of the Omar Dhiab restaurant since 2022. Born in France in 1988, the son of a chef of Egyptian origin, he honed his skills at Le Train Bleu, then in some of the capital's finest Michelin-starred restaurants: Pavillon Ledoyen under Christian Le Squer, Hôtel Raphaël, Lasserre, and L'Abeille at the Shangri-La alongside Christophe Moret. In 2019, he took the helm at Loiseau Rive Gauche and earned a Michelin star. In 2022, he opened his own restaurant a stone's throw from Place des Victoires and earned his first Michelin star in March 2023, just six months after opening.

Yes, Omar Dhiab opened his second establishment, Elbi, in May 2025. It's an Egyptian bistro and wine bar located at 54 rue de Paradis in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. It offers a more personal and accessible side of his cuisine, inspired by his Egyptian and Tunisian roots.
What are the opening hours?
Omar Dhiab's restaurant is open Tuesday to Friday for lunch (12:15-1:30 pm) and Monday to Friday for dinner (7:30-9:00 pm). Closed Saturday and Sunday. Hours may be subject to change on occasion (public holidays, events). Reservations are recommended by phone at 01 42 33 52 47 or via the website.
